Some bummer news from the All That Remains camp.
It seems like the bassist Jeanna Sagan has parted ways with the band, just in time for their upcoming tour.
I think this band making an appearence in Grand Rapids around Halloween time is pretty necessary, don't you think?
Mushroomhead returns to the Intersection!
When I found out that Metalocalypse was cancelled because Adult Swim didn't buy it again, I was pretty annoyed! Metalocalypse was such a cool show that you would never find on any television network! Sadly, the show ended after the 4th season.
Creator Brendon Small would like to see one last season for it.
Guess what? Another awesome concert is coming this way to the Intersection!
Motionless in White, The Devil Wears Prada, Upon a Burning Body, and more in October!
I'm a huge Iron Maiden fan...have been since I was a wee lad, and heard the twin guitars, the wailing vocals, and the bass that was playing interesting things! I've been following the band around while they tour, seeing them as many times as I can, and will continue to do that until I die.
The new Iron Maiden album, The Book of Souls, came out today, and I've only gotten to hear about 20 minutes o
FINALLY! The time has come from one of my favorite foreign metal bands to make it over to that states!
I have been listening to this band for a few years now, fearing that American audiences wouldn't get them. However, they recently had a single named 'Drop Dead Cynical' on radio and they started to build a following.
A few weeks ago, Evanescence announced that their guitarist Terry Balsamo was out, and they'd gotten a new guitarist named Jen Majura. Who's this? She's a German guitarist who's been on some great albums from Blind Guardian, Rage, Equilibrium, and more!
When I saw that Dethklok was trending, I got pretty excited! Was Metalocalypse back on the air, new Dethklok album?
Nope, but it's still awesome why Dethklok is trending though.
You know metal is getting into a better and better place, when you can see a band like Lamb of God on a big show like Kimmel, playing in front of a good crowd. Yeah, Metallica and Megadeth have done these kinds of shows, but it's not often that a band with extreme vocals and style on TV.
What better way to welcome in the Halloween holiday season, than with a kickass metal show at the Intersection? I can't think of a better way!
All That Remains, We Came as Romans, Emmure, and Red Sun Rising make a BIG return to the Intersection on October 14th!
