Last night in Austin, TX, the legendary Motorhead was playing a gig to their screaming loyal fans.

After 3 songs, Lemmy just couldn't make it.

Motorhead's Lemmy Kilmister cut their set short last night in Austin, TX after 3 songs, citing Lemmy's on going illness.

During their song 'Metropolis,' Lemmy stopped playing and said into the mic, "I can't do it.'

After a few moments away from the stage, Lemmy came back to the stage and apologized for leaving the stage. Lemmy then said "You are one of the best gigs in America, and I would love to play for you, but I can't… So please accept my apologies. Next time, all right?"

He walked off stage with a cane and the house lights came up.

It was quite heartbreaking to see such a legend hobble off stage with a cane, but if I know Lemmy, he doesn't give a s***. The man is 69 years old and you can tell that the years are starting to come up on him. Aside from age though, Lemmy will keep rocking to the dawn no matter how old he gets, and I respect the hell out of him for it.

However, if he decides that this is it, I would totally understand. The guy has been touring for ages. If any rocker deserves a break, it's Lemmy Kilmister, but we all know that it would take a lot more than words to take down this metal god.
