Games To Try Before You Die: Splatterhouse 2 (Genesis)

Video games and violence seem to be a match made in heaven (or hell...whatever works best.) Violent video games have been around since video games were even created. When most think of a violent video game today, they think headshots, guns, grenades, and maybe a chainsaw. We forget though, before we grabbed a gun in a video game, we grabbed 2x4's with rusty nails, lead pipes, and the good ol' fist! SPLATTERHOUSE!

Metal Moment: Behemoth

Time for a long overdue METAL MOMENT! Been awhile since I have done one of these. This is a band I discovered not to long ago, and if you are a HARCORE metal head, than this a band that should not be missed. After hearing some of their tunes, this is music that you might have some trouble finding here in America. This Metal Moment is dedicated to: BEHEMOTH!

Games To Try Before You Die: Star Fox 64 (Nintendo 64)

The original Star Fox was revolutionary for it's time, with the super awesome SUPER FX CHIP! Well, nowadays the SUPER FX CHIP looks like crap, but it was still fun. So obviously a sequel was planned for Star Fox named 'Star Fox 2.' We waited, waited, and waited....and it never came out! Good...because of that, Star Fox 64 arrived!

DEVICE’s Debut Album-Good or Bad?

David Draimen is a pretty well known name in the music and metal community. The frontman of Disturbed and a Twitter feed that is constantly being updated with something political. Draimen is keeping busy though with his side project DEVICE, whom just released a debut album...is it good though?

Grand Rapids Symphony to Perform Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses

A little while ago, I reviewed PLAY! A Video Game Symphony, a night of video game music performed by the Grand Rapids Symphony. It was an absolutely amazing time, and I got to hear great music from games like Final Fantasy, Super Mario Bros., Elder Scrolls, most importantly though...Legend of Zelda. Did you know that, that the GR Symphony is dedicating a WHOLE NIGHT to LEGEND OF ZELDA?!?!

Games To Try Before You Die: Alan Wake (Xbox 360)

A Games to Try Before You Die that is not a retro game?!?! WHAT?!?! Well I like new games too ya know...This is a game that many people shoved to the side, and that is just sad. With a video game market clogged by FPS' and MMO's, what happened to the classic survival horror thriller? Silent Hill is my most frightening game with disturbing visuals and stuff, and then this one came around and proved you don't need gallons of blood to freak you out.

West Michigan Gaming Convention 2013 Draws the Gaming Community

I am a huge gamer. I love old school and new school video games! Gaming is the blood that runs through my veins. Recently, I have also taken an interest in Table Top Gaming too. Games like Warhammer, Magic: The Gathering, and many others. (Gimme a break, I am just finding out about these). So of course, I checked out the first annual West Michigan Gaming Convention, and it did not disappoint.
