Metalhead Ned Says Farewell to WGRD!

Yes my friends, this is no joke.

I am officially leaving my beloved rock station known at 97.9 WGRD.

Some of you that follow me on Facebook already know this news, but as of a week or two ago, I have turned in my two weeks at WGRD.

Why?

Well, I found another job. If you want to know what it is, it's with another radio station outside of the state of Michigan. It's in the land of Slipknot and corn...no not the band Korn...I'm talking long fields of corn, also know as Iowa. So yes, I will be moving to the great state of Iowa doing a full time on air radio gig from 2p-7p, which is pretty exciting I must admit!

I'm not a super fan of the fact that I have to leave my home state, hometown, and home radio station, but in order for me to move forward, it's the right move.

I'll be around for another week, so stick to WGRD.com for some cool stuff! I have been here for about 7 years, so I want to look back on memories of my time here at WGRD, because they span for YEARS!
