I'm a huge Iron Maiden fan...have been since I was a wee lad, and heard the twin guitars, the wailing vocals, and the bass that was playing interesting things! I've been following the band around while they tour, seeing them as many times as I can, and will continue to do that until I die.

The new Iron Maiden album, The Book of Souls, came out today, and I've only gotten to hear about 20 minutes of it, and so far, it's freaking EPIC!

To celebrate, here are a couple videos I shot from the last Iron Maiden shows I got to go see. In 2013, Maiden was doing their 'Maiden England' tour, and hit Las Vegas and San Bernardino. I made it to both shows! It was a good week.

The first of the two was in Las Vegas, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center, on September 12...almost exactly two years ago! Megadeth was the opener for the show, and it was the first time I'd seen Megadeth since they'd started tuning down to D live.

Iron Maiden absolutely brought the show, the songs...it was freaking amazing, like they always are. Fire, explosions, lots of songs from the Seventh Son of a Seventh Son album, too, which is awesome.

The next day, Friday the 13th, I went to California to see the Battle of San Bernardino, with Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Anthrax, Testament, Sabaton, Overkill, and more! It was an amazing day of metal, and Maiden's show was even bigger, being outside!

It was also one of the first times I got to see the fantastic Sabaton live. A great Swedish band that sings about historical battles and wars. Check them out.

So, celebrate New Maiden Album Day with me, and enjoy these videos I shot and wanted to share with you!
