What can I say about the Air Force Marathon?  It is AWESOME! I don't know if I would be saying this if the stars hadn't aligned for me and I hadn't ran what was basically the best marathon I ever ran!

I normally see a photo of me running and think, BAH! AWFUL, every time. This past Saturday though I raced in, Duo On The Ledge, a half marathon in Grand Ledge. I was sent a series of pictures from the race progressing from mile 2 on up to 13. This past weekend was very eventful!  I traveled to Chicago with 2 of my former team mates and together we raced in the Chicago Women's Half Marathon.  Let me tell you something, it was miserable!  90 degree weather... 13.1 miles... HELL!

I am back! Hold your excitement please ;) all last week I was gone not only running, the Walt Disney world half marathon, but I was on a 5 day cruise to the Bahamas! For one thing the race was awesome! I ran pretty solid, and earned over 2,000 dollars for the AT-Children's project! The cruise on the other hand... WAS ALSO AWESOME! Alright folks I did it! I just finished up the Walt Disney world half marathon! I'm pleased with my finish and now am ready for some fun in the sun!! So enjoy Michigan bitches! Bahaha! ;)

I hate snow! Well I love hate it... It is very pretty. I like this time of year, like Christmas, and New Years, BUT I absolutely hate running in the snow! Give me a cold day for a run and I'm all about it, but throw some snow in there and I'm ready to throw some punches...

Along with Eric Zane and Producer Steve I have been training for the 5/3 Riverbank Run. Every Saturday we meet with the strider's running group to get our long run in as a big group (group running = faster running!) After my disastrous showing at the Walt Disney Marathon, I felt that I had to come in to this one and try and redeem myself...

This past 4th of July I entered the 2011 Volkslaufe 5k! Yup Volkslaufe, WTF does that mean? Well its German and its in the awesome German town of Frankenmuth. It was a very hot day and I was not looking forward to running through the heat like that, but being one of the most competitive people I know I had to force myself to run through it!
