Jackie’s Race Progression

I normally see a photo of me running and think, BAH! AWFUL, every time. This past Saturday though I raced in, Duo On The Ledge, a half marathon in Grand Ledge. I was sent a series of pictures from the race progressing from mile 2 on up to 13. I had to share these mainly because the ones at miles 2,3, and 4, I am down right gleeful… then we get to mile 13 and I look like a dead animal!

Starts off all happy… waving for this camera dude.

awe look how happy I am… still smiling!

I clearly didn’t know what layed ahead, or I wouldn’t have been grinning like a fool!

here it is… this is called “creeping death” because its really setting in here…

And then the actual finish- death!
