Not being a runner, I had no idea those extra shoe-lace holes on your running shoes actually had a function! I thought they might be for people with oddly shaped feet, or something. I had no idea that they helped create a 'shoe lock' to keep your feet from moving around and causing blisters when you run!

I always thought shoe tech was just about the rubber on the bottom, or air pockets, or springs, or something. I had no idea they'd built in a foot or shoe lock!
