Red Sun Rising

20 Monroe Live is the new entertainment venue opening in Grand Rapids this February. They've been generating a lot of buzz in the community, and have promised a great schedule of concerts for their opening, and they weren't kidding!

Pop Evil will hit the ground running with an early 2017 tour featuring support from Red Sun Rising and Badflower.

3 Doors Down hit DeVos with Pop Evil, and Red Sun Rising on Tuesday night, August 30th, and it was a really good concert! If you missed it, you did miss a fun night. All three bands came out and kicked ass for the packed crowd in Grand Rapids.

Tuesday night, August 30th, Red Sun Rising came back to Grand Rapids for a great show with Pop Evil, and 3 Doors Down! First up for the night, Red Sun Rising played a short, but energetic set, and played great!

Tuesday night, August 30th, Pop Evil returned to Grand Rapids at DeVos Place with 3 Doors Down, and Red Sun Rising, for a great show! This is an all-theatre run for the three bands, and it's cool to see more rock shows at DeVos! Pop Evil was the second band on stage, and they killed it!

Red Sun Rising is a really cool band from Ohio who's rocked Grand Rapids a couple times in the past few months! In August they hit the Intersection with Pop Evil for the CD release party of PE's new album "Up" on "Pop Evil Day" here in Grand Rapids. Before hitting The Intersection Tuesday night with All That Remains and We Came As Romans, Mike and Ricky from Red Sun Rising stopped by GRD. The guys talked with Janna about touring, what it's like to be be back in Grand Rapids, their latest single The Otherside, and even put on their best "radio DJ" voices to introduce it!

This has been one huge Pop Evil party weekend! First, Friday morning, Mayor Hartwell declared it Pop Evil Day for Grand Rapids, and it was also declared in Muskegon! The album came out at 10am, and then an amazing show happened at the Intersection with Aranda, and Red Sun Rising. But that's not the end of the Pop Evil festivities.

Friday, August 21st, Pop Evil hit Grand Rapids for their CD release party, and they had a couple great bands in tow, Red Sun Rising, and the amazing Aranda! Red Sun Rising has been here with Pop Evil before, last December at the Intersection, for the sold out show, and they were really good then. They're amazing now!
