Nothing More is a great band from Texas (my home state), and they came through town on Monday as one of the openers for the Chevelle show at The Orbit Room.  They also stopped by the station to meet some winners and play a couple songs for us in their special "acoustic" format. These guys do their acoustic thing a bit different from most.

Middle Class Rut was the second band to play during the Chevelle concert on Monday night, with Nothing More opening the show.   These two dudes jumped on stage and rocked with a lot of energy, with a huge sound for two guys being the only ones up there. They had some backing tracks going to fill things out, but they weren't playing too loud.
