Yesterday, the Pope visited the area of my hometown. I say it like that, because he was in Juarez, Mexico, which is right across from El Paso, where I'm from. His visit inspired many people, and there were an estimated 1 MILLION extra people in El Paso, and another 2 MILLION crowding into Juarez, on top of the regular population for the Pope's visit.

It's been a whirlwind 24 hours since I write my last blog. We had a really fun time meeting everyone at 95.5 KLAQ in El Paso yesterday. As soon as we arrived, we recorded a segment for a "new music" show with one of the DJs, Ray, that will air on KLAQ on Sunday. It was a -6 windchill in Lubbock last night, but that didn't stop us from having a great time. We met Mike Driver at 94.5 FMX yesterday. He was a cool dude in every sense of the phrase. A long time friend of Jesse Dupree, he welcomed us with open arms and we had a great time jamming "Reno," "On My Knees," and "Nobody's Perfect" acoustic on the air.

Texas is freezing!!! The cold air makes it painful to step off the bus! WOW! Everyone always says that we should be used to cold weather, being from Michigan, but it's something I've never gotten used to. There's no coincidence in the fact that we route our tours down South in the winter! Ha ha!
