It was a -6 windchill in Lubbock last night, but that didn't stop us from having a great time. We met Mike Driver at 94.5 FMX yesterday. He was a cool dude in every sense of the phrase. A long time friend of Jesse Dupree, he welcomed us with open arms and we had a great time jamming "Reno," "On My Knees," and "Nobody's Perfect" acoustic on the air. He might be the only program director to ever help us load the entire trailer! I was on the phone with Jim Stone from WXRX in Rockford IL this morning and mentioned Driver helping with our gear, his response was "ya, I would never do that." Haha! We can't wait to visit Lubbock again and build a following with the help of 94.5 FMX.

Chip drove about 3 hours after the show last night and stopped at a Truck-stop in Carlsbad. We all got at 8am to brush our teeth and then hit the road. Tyler drove first today. It was a beautiful desert drive, with no gas stations or rest stops for almost 200 miles. We got into El Paso county and stopped to pee at fist sign of civilization! We happened to stop at an authentic Mexican market. After living in L.A. for a while, we never miss the opportunity for the real thing. Dean and I both had burritos with black beans, rice, guacamole, cilantro, onion, tomato, and some hot-as-hell salsa. So good!!

We're getting ready to head into KLAQ to meet Glenn, Ray and Kevin. We have a lot of mutual friends with everyone there and we've all been really excited to finally connect with them. We're also REALLY excited to shower, our last showers were Tuesday night. We're hoping to get that done between radio and load in.
