On Friday, April 4th, the Wayland guys came by the GRD studios to hang out, talk about their world, and get everyone stoked for the show at The Intersection on April 5th. Wayland's show at the Intersection was fantastic!  The crowd was huge, the band was on fire, and everyone had such a great time! Thanks to everyone who came out to rock with Wayland!

Thanks to an amazing Grand Rapids turn out, Wayland got rock their hometown at the sold out Intersection on Saturday night!  You guys all jammed into the place to make some noise and support some local boys done good! There were a lot of great local bands on the bill:

Saturday night in Anderson, S.C., was a fun show for us. We had a lot of famous and familiar faces in the crowd from the Greenville area.

The final batch of Florida shows on this run are over. The last show, at Aces on St Patty's Day, was one that we'll all remember for a long time. It was a benefit to raise money for an anti-child abuse organization. We had so many friends come out! Some we've known since our first trip to Florida and others that we just met. Last night it felt so great to be on a big stage. We've been playing club dates all winter and I forgot the excitement that comes with being able to run and jump all over the stage.

I'm really sorry I haven't written a tour log in a few days. I appreciate everyone contacting me asking about them. It's been crazy in Camp Wayland. There were a few times I sat down to write a log and couldn't figure out where to begin. Ha ha! Birmingham, Ala., was a fun night and we really bonded with the local opening bands. We were so relieved to play a nice room and a beautiful sound system

The show was a lot of fun last night. We had a good set but I was so excited to see Zach Myers, Zack Mack, and Chris Allen play. They killed it. At the end of their set we all went up on stage with them and jammed "Take it Easy" by The Eagles and "The Weight" by a The Band. Those guys are such amazing musicians , it's a true honor to play with them.
