Goodbye to Big Fancy – Wayland Tour Log 3/6/14

The show was a lot of fun last night. We had a good set but I was so excited to see Zach Myers, Zack Mack, and Chris Allen play. They killed it. At the end of their set we all went up on stage with them and jammed "Take it Easy" by The Eagles and "The Weight" by a The Band. Those guys are such amazing musicians , it's a true honor to play with them.

After he show we went back to Zach's to jam. We never ended up jamming but Tyler and I stayed up laughing our asses off, trading tour stories with those guys until about 3:30am. My face literally hurt from smiling when I went to bed.

Today we traded our year and a half old trailer "Big Fancy" for a used trailer with 2 7500 lbs axles on it. This should be the end of our trailer issues. We are heading from Nashville to spend the night in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. If you've never heard of it, Google it. Some of my favorite music has been recorded in this tiny town. From Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, and Percy Sledge, to The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Elton John and Lynyrd Skynyrd. I'm so excited to be there!!

Tomorrow we travel to Mississippi. Heading South baby!
