Well, where do I start?   Bobaflex broke down on the way to St. Louis yesterday. So, we took over as the headliner of last night's show. We played a great show and the sound on stage was loud and inspiring.

Last night really escalated quickly. I would love to have watched through the eyes of an outsider as the shenanigans ensued between us and our pals in Bobaflex. When we get together it's like high school kids who's parents have gone on vacation. We can't wait to break every rule we can think of and have the best time doing so!! Haha! We love those guys, and we love their music.

Freezing!!! Our bus isn't insulated at all and there are many holes in it. We don't notice when it's sitting still with the heat cranked, but when we're going 70mph across the Kansas in 2 degree weather, it tends to be all we can think about. I can't get warm. I'm in my bunk, in my sleeping bag, under 2 blankets, and my feet are so cold they might fall off. Because the storm came through the area,

Yesterday was a crazy Friday. We loaded into the club at our usual 5 p.m. Once we loaded in and sound-checked, Mitch and I started walking to meet our friend Ryan for dinner. It was a 35-minute walk to the Thai restaurant. We laughed the whole way there and talked about out plans for the next few months. Ryan ended up getting stuck at work and we had dinner -- just the two of us.

Wow! Back in the saddle again! We all spent the three "days off" working from morning to night. Our days were filled with running errands, getting gear fixed, and booking shows, and planning tour routing. I don't think I set my phone down hardly at all during the break. My plan was to spend time with my guitar but there just wasn't enough hours in the day.

It's been a wild and intense 24 hours since my last tour log. Yesterday, 2 hours before load in, we found out that the venue never got a sound man for the show. They had a great system, with a beautiful digital soundboard, with no one to run it! This could have easily resulted in canceling the show. Luckily within the hour we got a hold of our friend Rob, who we met through Royal Bliss, and he hap

Last night was fantastic in Salt Lake City! There were some little road bumps in sound and production as usual, but nothing team Wayland couldn't overcome. For those instances we have a secret weapon, his name is Chip! Haha! We had a fantastic turn out and the local bands were great to work with! I was so tired by the time I got into my bunk at the end of the night.

We had an awesome show in Idaho Falls last night! The radio stations from both Pocatello and Idaho Falls came out to show their support and the turn out was fantastic. We are so excited to get back to Idaho! After the show, we stopped back at our home-stay's house to get our luggage. Mitch was the only one that ended up showering. I was planning on it but by that time I was so tired I just wanted

I think we all needed yesterday to catch up on life. We hadn't done laundry since we were in Los Angeles and our home-stay's washer and dryer here in Idaho Falls, Idasho, has been running nonstop for over 24 hours. Home-stay is the term we've adopted for the families who let us stay with them while we're in their town. Home-stays are absolute saints, and they save our asses out here. We take the

Wow! Jerome, Idaho was like a homecoming celebration last night! The people there have welcomed us and treated us like family ever since the first time we played there in 2012. At this point it truly doesn't matter what day of the week it is that we roll through town, the people of Jerome come out ready to party! The crowd was yelling requests throughout the whole set, and we played most of the so

Reno was an epic adventure once again! My hangover is epic, and Dean's is even worse! Ha ha! The show was a blast. The staff at Brew Brothers were all so nice, and the sound crew was top notch, too. Both acoustic and electric sets got a great response. It was fun playing to a bunch of tourists that wondered in from the casino as well as so many familiar Reno faces.

We got into town around 2pm yesterday. We checked in at the Eldorado and went off to explore downtown Reno. We all took some time apart to call our families. Mitch and I met up a little later and tried our luck on the Penny and Nickel slots. We were not very lucky. Haha! A friend of Royal Bliss invited us out to a club he works at in town. We were all pretty exhausted but Mitch and I mustered up
