Wednesday night, the massive Metallica stage was up, the bands were ready, and the crowd packed into Comerica Park in Detroit for the Metallica concert with Avenged Sevenfold, and Volbeat. There was some worry about big storms coming through, so the show began a little early.
Monday, June 5, 2017, Volbeat hit Grand Rapids for a show at 20 Monroe Live. I decided to take you behind the scenes of a typical concert day for a DJ, including being on the air, the Meet & Greet, introducing the band, and rocking during the show!
Monday night, Volbeat returned to Grand Rapids for a headlining show at 20 Monroe Live, and brought Dallas thrashers Power Trip with them. It was a crushing show, both bands kicked ass.
