Wednesday night, Volbeat hit the Van Andel Arena while on tour with Avenged Sevenfold, Killswitch Engage, and Avatar, and for those who hadn't seen them, it was like a life-changing experience. They're so good live.

Wednesday night, September 14th, Avenged Sevenfold returned to Grand Rapids for a huge show with Volbeat, Killswitch Engage, and Avatar. People packed into the Van Andel expecting a good show, but we all got a great show from all four bands!

A few months ago, Jim Matz won our trip to fly to Minneapolis with his wife to check out Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, and Volbeat at the new US Bank Stadium! He and his wife had a blast, and he sent some great photos and videos from the show!

Friday night, June 3rd, Volbeat played a monster set at the Rock Am Ring festival in Germany, before the festival got hit and shut down by bad weather and injuries. Since Volbeat hasn't scheduled anything here in Grand Rapids yet, and their Detroit date isn't until August, this is all we'll get live for a while. Volbeat will be embarking on a headlining 2016 North American run beginning in August, bringing Killswitch Engage and Black Wizard on the road with them.

Volbeat have revealed a string of April tour dates surrounding their Coachella appearances with Black Stone Cherry and Monster Truck.

Volbeat has been working on their next album, and we've been patiently waiting for it since the last tour ended. I think the guys know we're not handling the wait very well, as they premiered the first half of a new song this weekend, in San Antonio. We don't have the title yet, but it's a pretty freaking cool first half of a song! Crank it up and check it out!

I wish Volbeat would come to Grand Rapids soon, because these guys kick ass! Plus, they always look like they are having a blast on stage! Once again, Volbeat makes their return to Rock on the Range, and this time they brought the entire damn crowd with them.

Volbeat rocked Grand Rapids back in September, selling out the The DeltaPlex along with Five Finger Death Punch, Hell Yeah and Nothing More. They just announced it is hitting the road again this spring. This time along with Anthrax and Crobot.
