Well, here is something you don't see every day. Why is it that these bands always do this type of thing at shows that I am not at? There are so many bands that I would love to see a collaboration with, and seeing this was pretty awesome.

Today sucks, now. Linkin Park has officially canceled its stop here in Grand Rapids on Feb. 4. I repeat, the show at Van Andel Arena -- with Of Mice and Men and Rise Against -- has been canceled. It was reported earlier today that Chester Bennington has suffered a leg injury, and had to cancel a couple shows while he saw doctors. However, it was just announced the rest of the tour through Feb. 14

We teased it and now we can officially announce it! Slipknot will take the stage at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on May 16. The stop is part of Slipknot's Prepare for Hell Tour, with Hatebreed as special guest for the trek.

If you dig deep enough, you will find gold in them thar hills! A few nights ago I typed in Grand Rapids into the YouTube search bar and found concert footage from all types of concerts in the past years. Then I stumbled upon one that shows how small they once were, and that was System of a Down.

If you've never seen the Trans-Siberian Orchestra perform, don't even bother imagining what might unfold. It is something seemingly slightly beyond the realm of reality being brought to Grand Rapids for Trans-Siberian Orchestra's performances at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in Van Andel Arena.

On Monday for World AIDS Day, U2 put on a surprise concert in New York's Times Square. Because Bono was unable to perform with the band due to his recovery from a bicycling injury and surgery, Bruce Springsteen and Coldplay's Chris Martin stood in and handled the singing duties.

What an amazing night this past Saturday at The Intersection! Wayland ROCKED the place and the crowd was well over 1,300 people! It was amazing! How do you welcome these guys home? Having Eric Zane from the Free Beer & Hot Wings Morning Show welcome the crowd!
