This week is pretty cool! I get to meet a lot of big name bands in my line of work, and this one is no exception. Last night, Chevelle performed at The Orbit Room to a SOLD OUT crowd! Chevelle brought their tour for "La Gargola" to Grand Rapids yesterday, with Middle Class Rut and Nothing More making a lot of noise in The Orbit Room.   It was a really cool day, with a visit from Nothing More here at the 'GRD studios, the awesome meet-and-greet soundcheck party with Chevelle that afternoon and then the show!

I got the privilege of talking with Sam, the drummer for Chevelle a couple of weeks ago, and we talked about the new album "La Gargola" that was released on April 1st, and their upcoming tour. Early in the interview we learned what Pete means when he said he "got Sam and electric drum kit".

Chevelle continue to crank out great hard rock music and the band's seventh studio album, 'La Gargola,' just arrived in stores and online. The group has been receiving positive reviews so far for the heavier sounding effort and they're getting ready to take their show on the road.

A couple years ago, I caught Chevelle on the Carnival of Madness tour with Halestorm, and they kicked serious ass!   I'd seen them before, but this time they really brought it to the crowd and played with a lot of energy. The giant bull on stage was an impressive touch, too.

Today, I got to talk with Sam from Chevelle about their new album, the upcoming tour, even road stink, road food, and Pete's idea of how he does things! Chevelle's new album "La Gargola" comes out on April 1st, and they're currently rehearsing for the tour, so that seemed like the best place to start the conversation...

Chevelle are still a few weeks away from releasing their 'La Gargola' album, but it's shaping up to be a killer record. The band has already released their rapidly rising single, 'Take Out the Gunman,' and now they're giving fans a taste of a new track called 'Hunter Eats Hunter.'

I'm really looking forward to checking out Chevelle again in a few weeks, when they hit The Orbit Room on April 21st!  I've seen them a couple of times, and they're a great band. The last time I saw them was on the Carnival of Madness tour a couple years ago, with Halestorm and Cavo.  Chevelle rocked the show, and I'm looking forward to hearing some of the new songs from their upcoming album, &quo

Chevelle is anxiously awaiting the April 1 release of its 'La Gargola' album. In the lead up to the disc, Chevelle teamed with Loudwire to give a second glimpse inside the recording studio as they were completing work on the new disc.

If 'Take Out the Gunman' evokes some particularly violent imagery, then latch onto Chevelle's lyric video for the track.

Chevelle are ready to support their new album 'La Gargola' this spring as they've just unveiled a new slate of tour dates to rock their fans.

I really don't hope that the good news of fresh concert announcements stops! New ones just keep getting announced every day, and it just keeps getting better and better. Well, we have another one for you and it is hitting the Orbit Room on April 21, and that is CHEVELLE!
