Kids may only be exposed to metal music by their rebellious older siblings, but the Cartoon Network show The Amazing World of Gumball is doing what it can to educate the children: In a brief scene of the program, a monster-like bus driver sounds out the differences between grindcore, black metal and viking metal, following the show's titular character describing metalheads by saying they "pretend to be hardcore, but they're just hippies who like leather." This isn't the first time metal music was featured in kids entertainment in recent years: System of a Down's "Bounce" is used in the upcoming movie The Secret Life of Pets, while Pantera's music was featured in "Prehibernation Week," a 2001 episode of SpongeBob SquarePants.
