Illegal weapons include machine guns, silencers, short-barreled shotguns, and bombs. Possession of these items is typically a five-year felony, with fines of up to $2,500. Carrying a concealed weapon without a license is also a five-year felony, and carrying one with unlawful intent can result in similarly severe penalties.
