Michigan State Police Competing for Best Looking Cruiser

Here's our chance to make the Michigan State Police Cruiser No. 1 in 2026! While the car itself is looking spiffy, West Michiganders will immediately recognize the location of the photo.

The Grand Haven Sunset Advantage

Instead of a boring highway shot, this year's entry features an MSP Dodge Charger sitting right on the sand next to a Department of Natural Resources marine patrol boat. They caught the perfect West Michigan evening, with the sky lit up in bright pinks and oranges, and the iconic Grand Haven South Pierhead Light standing tall in the background.

Stunning, right? Folks seem to think so, because as of a few days ago, Michigan is in the No.1 spot.

And Florida? Currently No. 3 behind Georgia.

Can Michigan Beat Florida This Year?

To give you an idea of what we are competing against, Florida is trying to flex some serious muscle this year. Which is understandable, as they are going for a four-peat.

According to ABC 3, their entry features a flashy, black-and-tan 2023 Mustang 5.0 GT parked right in front of Tampa’s Sunshine Skyway Bridge. They shot it during a classic, dramatic Florida afternoon thunderstorm, with the entire bridge lit up in red, white, and blue to celebrate America’s 250th birthday.
