
Missing Your Dog? Kent County Animal Shelter Takes in 20 Strays in 24 Hours
Do you know anyone missing their dog? Let's help spread the word and get these pups home!
The Kent County Animal Shelter shared to social media on Wednesday that the organization had taken in 20 stray dogs in the span of 24 hours.

They explain the steps they take when a stray animal comes to them:
- Scan for a chip - keep your pet's microchips up-to-date
- Check for tags - even a phone number on a collar can help
- Take a photo and share on their website

Kent County Animal Shelter has temporarily relocated to 2055 Oak Industrial Dr. NE while the facility on Fuller Ave. undergoes renovation. You can reach the shelter by calling 616-632-7300.

As the shelter currently has reduced capacity at this temporary location, it's even more important to help reunite these lost pets with their families!
Anyone who has lost or found a pet is encouraged to upload a photo to Petco Love Lost. Petco uses pet facial recognition to send you alerts for similar looking animals.
