The dog’s owner was alerted after a neighbor witnessed the alleged abuse, recorded the incident on video, and sent it to her. The sitter had earlier contacted the owner claiming Frankie had bitten her, but did not explain what led up to the reported incident.

Frankie’s owner ended her vacation early and is now preparing to take legal action against the pet sitter. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
