Ninety-six-year-old Joe Valente wanted nothing more than his favorite cake for his birthday: German apple ring cake from King Kullen Supermarket in Suffolk County, N.Y.

While he got his cake, he noticed an extra ingredient inside when he bit into it. There was a dead rat inside the cake. Yup, a dead rat.
