ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove Kickstarter Funding Goal

One of my favorite video games for the Sega Genesis has to be the ToeJam & Earl games. Just looking at the game makes me say, "Man, they just don't make them like they used too."

It's been some time since we had heard from the funky aliens, and now thanks to Kickstarter, it looks like we may get the sequel that we have always wanted.

Last time we checked in with the ToeJam & Earl Kickstarter, is was moving relatively fast, but now the dream has come true for the developers of the game.

The game has reached it's goal of $400,000! All funded by fans of the game!

When I look at all of the great Kickstarter prizes they give you with your donation, it's pretty cool what you could possibly receive. Definitely the biggest prize you can get is one of the $10,000 prizes where you get to play games with game developers like Will Wright, Tim Schaefer, and plenty more. If I had the funding to blow that kind of change, I would buy that in an instant.

Even for you hardcore TJ & E fans, just the 6 Inch figures of the classic duo are pretty awesome too!

Obviously the game is completely funded, but they have some stretch goals too. Like adding extra levels, adding characters, and my personal favorite of adding the game to game consoles like Xbox One, Playstation 4, and WiiU.

Sadly, the newest game console I own is a WiiU and that goal is $800,000! I don't think I'll be getting it on my favorite game console.

Regardless, if you love the alien duo, this a great way to get some cool swag and help the game get off of its feet.
