Monday night, Volbeat returned to Grand Rapids for a headlining show at 20 Monroe Live, and brought Dallas thrashers Power Trip with them. It was a crushing show, both bands kicked ass.
Saturday night's crowd might have seemed a little weird if you don't know anything about Primus, since they were chanting "Primus Sucks" throughout the night. Or, as Les described in a story about Stewart Copeland, maybe they were chanting "Primus Up".
Friday night, Radkey rocked the Stache with a fun show. For three young guys, one of whom had the sharpie "M" for minor on his hand, they have quite a bit of experience playing live. And they brought it to Grand Rapids.
On Saturday night, Pop Evil hit 20 Monroe Live with a great band called Badflower. The guys cranked everything up a few notches before Pop Evil, getting the crowd moving and having fun.
Saturday night, Pop Evil invaded 20 Monroe Live for an fantastic show at our newest venue downtown. Before they hit the stage, Badflower and Kaleido got things going with lots of cool rock. Kaleido was up first.

Friday night, February 3rd, Lynyrd Skynyrd hit Grand Rapids' new concert venue, 20 Monroe Live, for a packed show with special guest Laith Al-Saadi. This was my first time seeing the Ann Arbor musician Laith, and he blew me away! Great voice, amazing guitar playing...fun show!
Tuesday night, we hosted our first GRD Christmas Party at the Stache, with tons of cool autographed stuff to give away as Christmas presents, and some great live music! Citizen Zero came over from Detroit to have some fun with us, and one of our very own Grand Rapids bands, Deepfall rocked the show, too!
