Matt DiRito and Leigh Kakaty from Pop Evil debuted the band's new song "Footsteps" Monday on WGRD! On break from touring, the guys have been been back home in West Michigan for a few weeks and were awesome enough to stop by and let GRD be the first to share their new song with the world! The guys talked about Pop Evil's upcoming album and also revealed the band's next show in Grand Rapid

It's been mentioned, talked about, etc. The time has finally come for Pop Evil to premiere a brand new song this coming Monday exclusively on 97.9 WGRD!

In the first few seconds of this new behind the scenes video from Pop Evil, the guys let slip the new album's name! It's a surprising new album title, and completely different from the last few, like Onyx. This one will throw you for a bit of a loop, but it's actually pretty cool. Pop Evil moved their recording operation for the next album out to Seattle, to shake things up a bit, and create something new and exciting for us! We've had some special Grand Rapids messages from the guys in the studio, and as the time draws closer to the new album coming out, the band has got the first episode of the official making of the new album out!

The Pretty Reckless' 'Follow Me Down'

It was a raucous Tuesday night at Grand Rapids' Van Andel Arena. Nickelback, the Canadian band everyone loves to hate if they don't love the group, along with opening act The Pretty Reckless, led by Taylor Momsen, rocked Grand Rapids.

Pop Evil are working hard on the new album, hoping to get it out as soon as they can this year, and are in the studio in Seattle recording even as I write this! The guys have narrowed down the list of songs they've written to the ones they're going to focus on recording, and making sure they've got all the best stuff to finish.

Pop Evil are in a studio in Seattle even as we speak, recording the follow up to 2013's Onyx album for us! The guys have been working on the demos and pre-production up until now with Adam Kasper, but have officially entered the official recording phase of the process now! The Pop Evil guys have been in Seattle these last weeks, beginning the recording process for their fourth album with producer Adam Kasper, who's worked with the Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden! The guys sent us an update from the demo recordings the other day, which you can check out here, that includes some great photos, and a video greeting for Grand Rapids from Chachi!
