Man, do I love a good Mushroomhead show! I have seen them 10+ times, and each time gets better and better. It is really hard to believe that Mushroomhead has been on the scene for 20 years! They will be celebrating the 20 year existence with a huge tour, and one very big special suprise for all of the 'Shroomheads out there...

Free? What is this great word know as free? Well, if you don't mind taking a hike down to Jackson, MI tonight, you can check out a free show! Meaning you don't need a ticket, or any kind of money to enjoy this show. Metal heads unite, Mushroomhead is comin' to Jackson!

Looking for a damn good show to go too? Also, do you enjoy the brutal sound of metal? Look no further than one of the most hardworking bands in 'Industrial Metal' today, named Mushroomhead! Better yet, they are making their yearly stop at The Intersection.

There has been a feud for years now on whether who was the first group to wear mask on stage, and the contest was between metal groups Slipknot and Mushroomhead Even though  both of them were not the first, that honor goes to GWAR. Even that is debatable! Both bands are freakin' awesome, but lead vocalist Corey Taylor of Slipknot is putting all things to rest.

Last week, one of the most entertaining metal acts Mushroomhead, made a stop at the Intersection. Mushroomhead is known for there insane shows, signature stage personas, water drums, and hard driving kick ass metal. I even got the chance to sit in with lead vocalist Waylon Reavis and talked about what his thoughts of modern day metal are.

It seems like every band has a lead singer that wants to go beyond their band that made them successful and try out a solo stint. Examples of this are System of a Down, Slipknot, and now Mushroomhead. Sometimes they work, and sometimes they don't. Does Jeffrey Nothing's album, 'The New Psychodalia' work?

More metal, more hate, and more destruction it hitting the road with the upcoming Slaughterhouse Road tour. The tour features Mushroomhead, Psychostick, Ventana, Blue Felix, and Motograter!

I recently checked out Carnival of Chaos in Lake Odessa, MI this past weekend. TONS of acts, including Kittie, Dope, Mushroomhead, etc. But there was one band that just blew me away...and that is why this weeks Metal Moment goes to: Ventana!
