Weird Al Movie Shows the Real Weird Al Life Story
Weird Al Yankovic has become such a phenomenon over the decades since he began making parody songs, and playing his accordion.  But has his story ever been truly told? Not it will be. Every single moment of this movie is based on complete fact.  There's no way even a single word of it has been altered in any way.

A few years ago, you might have seen a pretty cool movie called, "Quarantine", with Jennifer Carpenter (Dexter's TV sister), where she followed some firefighters into a building that's, well, quarantined.   It's a pretty cool flick, but the movie it's adapted from is kick ass. It's called "". It's a Spanish language movie, but is more brutal, and scary than the American version

There's a new movie coming out, going back to the old "Ouija board summons evil crap" storyline. It's just called Ouija.   Remember Witchboard? This looks sort of like that. Have you ever done the whole Ouija thing? I mean, seriously? I tried it at the last radio station I worked for, since there have been tons of reports of ghosts in the station building.

Some Geeks Have Way Too Much Time on Their Hands
I will admit to being a geek about some things.  Not as crazy as Metalhead Ned is about gaming and KISS, but I do have my obsessions.  (No, YouPorn is not one of them, shut it.) But some people take their obsession with getting deeper into movies and TV a little bit too far. Example 1: The Hollywood Reporter contacted a disaster-cost prediction company to assess the damage done to Manhattan during

It used to take weeks and months to make CGI characters look and move like real people for movies, but now technology is getting so good and powerful that a lot can be done in real time. Check out these guys who are making a movie titled "Construct".  The movie looks pretty bad-ass, and the tech behind it is pretty freakin' cool, too!

Arnold Schwarzenegger Wants Us to Get to the Choppa – On QVC?
I'm really excited about the new Arnold movie coming out this weekend, Sabotage.  There's a bad-ass red band trailer you can check out, that takes you back to the old days when Arnold was kicking ass and blowing up everyone. This is what I like from Arnold, and now that he's not in public office anymore, he's gone back full-bore into movies.

Anyone Else Remember This From Middle School?
I am so geeked.  I remember it like yesterday, Mrs Dalecki's 7th grade english class we had to read, The Giver, by Lois Lowry. I think I remember it because whenever we "had" to read a book in class I automatically shut off. I love to read but when I was told I had to in class I was on to spark notes and barely a chapter through the book when I was supposed to be finished.

Filming in Grand Rapids
Over the last few weeks, a new movie has been filming around Grand Rapids, and here at the WGRD studios.  Jesse Eisenberg and Jason Segel are starring in the movie "The End of the Tour", and have been wandering around our building. I high-fived Jason Segel in the elevator.  He was very nice.
