Another band I was really excited to see at Rock on the Range this year was Exodus!  I've seen them a few times, and they always kick serious ass live!  The dual shredding guitars of Gary Holt and Lee Altus (of the fantastic Heathen, too) really make Exodus a force to be reckoned with. I first saw them before Lee joined the band, and since he's come on board, the band has gotten even better!  And

The final day of Rock on the Range 2014 was much warmer and less rainy than days one and two, which a lot of people really enjoyed!  The bands loved the weather, but really enjoyed the thousands of people that crowded their stages and partied really hard with them on Sunday, May 18th!  The crowd showed no signs of slowing down on the third full day of shows, and crowd-surfed and moshed all day! Day 2 of Rock on the Range was another huge day, and the largest attended day for Rock on the Range in it's entire history.  Tons of bands hit the stage, and I got photos of as many of them as I could catch. Rock on the Range 2014 is a huge event in Columbus, OH, and this year's show completely sold out!  GRD gave away a bunch of tickets to the event, and then we came down here to cover it for everyone else that couldn't make it.  We want to show you some of the things going on down here, and maybe next year, you'll join us! Here are some of the things we saw on the first day of Rock on the Range 2014

This weekend is the big Rock on The Range music festival in Columbus, Ohio.   It's be three days of rock, over 60 bands, food, weird stuff ... and maybe some rain.  If you have tickets, this will be an amazing weekend of fun for you...

Wayland's show at the Intersection was fantastic!  The crowd was huge, the band was on fire, and everyone had such a great time! Thanks to everyone who came out to rock with Wayland!

Thanks to an amazing Grand Rapids turn out, Wayland got rock their hometown at the sold out Intersection on Saturday night!  You guys all jammed into the place to make some noise and support some local boys done good! There were a lot of great local bands on the bill:

A couple years ago, I caught Chevelle on the Carnival of Madness tour with Halestorm, and they kicked serious ass!   I'd seen them before, but this time they really brought it to the crowd and played with a lot of energy. The giant bull on stage was an impressive touch, too.

Well, this is pretty awesome. Two juggernauts in the rock world just announced a co-headlining a 40-date tour for this summer! Even better, the tour has an August Michigan date!
