Michiganders for the most part are nice and welcoming people. We have a Midwestern hospitality but we also can get feisty if you piss us off. That's something you want to avoid.

Recently, Michigan was ranked the #2 state for the worst winters in the U.S.
This should come to no surprise, if you're from Michigan you know how brutal (and weird) our winters can be. Even out-of-towners recognize it. But, Instead of complaining about the cold weather and the snow we should think about the positives...
No one loves the cold quite like Canada does!
Canadian Tire is an automotive company based in Canada which set out to test its newest cold weather battery by installing it into a truck made completely out of ice.
I went out for lunch today to get my usual Teriyaki Bowl from Freshii and I walked past the Silverline Stop in downtown Grand Rapids. I started to notice these colorful scarves tied around light posts downtown.
Upon closer inspection, a smile graced my face.

Well, the Super Bowl Sunday-Groundhog Day snowstorm was just as bad with gusting winds, sub-zero wind chills and plenty of snow.
