Metallica, Dave Grohl, and The Black Keys are saluting U.S. Veterans and their families November 11th (Veteran's Day) at ‘The Concert for Valor,‘ a free concert in Washington, D.C. Can't make it to D.C.? You can watch it live on HBO or stream it live online!

Also performing are  Eminem, Bruce Springsteen, the Zac Brown Band and more. Plus special appearances by Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, Bryan Cranston, and Jack Black, among others.

The Concert for Valor will take place at the National Mall between the Capitol and the Washington Monument. It airs live on HBO on Veterans Day (Nov. 11) at 7 PM ET.

Don't have HBO? You can still watch! HBO is offering their affiliates the opportunity to broadcast the show, allowing nonsubscribers a chance to watch the live special.

The concert serves as a fundraiser supporting a number of veteran’s service organizations assisting servicemen and women with employment, education opportunities, health and wellness and integration back into civilian life. Find out how you can help here.

In a statement on their website, Metallica said:

“We are honored to be asked to participate in a very special first-of-its-kind concert saluting U.S. veterans and their families on the National Mall in Washington D.C. this Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2014 ... We’re excited to play for those who have given so much of themselves for others as the night shines the spotlight on the more than 20 million American veterans who have served.”
