Listen, who doesn't love waffles at a complimentary breakfast? You get to pour in the batter yourself, turn that iron over, then boom, in a matter of minutes, your own delicious waffle.

While I understand how awesome waffles are, I'm not exactly sure how 30 people managed to get kicked out of a hotel in Ludington Mich., over a waffle maker.

MLive Media Group/The Muskegon Chronicle reports that over the holiday weekend two women got in an argument while in the waffle-making line at America's Best Value Inn in Pere Marquette Township.

Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole said the disagreement allegedly occured around 9a.m. Sunday May 24.

What started the fight?

Cole said, "It sounded like one lady walked up and asked the other lady if she was in line for the waffle maker. She didn't answer, so this lady started to make her waffle. The other confronted her and said, 'That was my waffle' and the other lady said, 'No, it's mine' and then it went down hill from there."

Well. Shoot. There you have it.  Classic waffle fight (because that's a thing?)...

Police were called to the hotel and found a large group of people fighting over the waffle maker.

Roughly 30 people were ordered to leave the hotel.

No one was injured and no one was arrested, police report. Which is good, because that would make this story more ridiculous that it already is.
