New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie's image as a GOP budget cutter is taking a hit, as Democrats pounce on his helicopter ride to his son's high school baseball game.

Christie's son, Andrew, attends a Catholic prep school in Montvale and plays catcher for the baseball team -- the same position that the governor played. Christie and his wife, Mary Pat, flew by helicopter with an aide to Tuesday night's game. A car driven by a state trooper drove them to the bleachers -- a distance reportedly about 100 yards -- and watched the game for a few innings.
