Foo Fighters fans are pretty darn awesome. (Being one, I can totally attest to that being true ;) )

Check out these 1,000 Foo Fighter superfans and musicians who came together for an impressive performance of  "Learn to Fly" to in an attempt to get the band to come play in their town of Cesena, Italy!

According to Today, the Rockin' 1000 project was founded by Fabio Zaffagnini, who got the idea to in May 2014 to "organize something that kicks ass worldwide and can be seen by Dave Grohl:  we will ask one thousand rockers to play one of their songs, all together and at the same time."

On July 26, 2015, Rockin' 1000 came to be! With the help of crowdfunding, the organization got the equipment, the space, everything they'd need to pull it off--  even world-famous conductor Marco Sabui to lead the 1,000 rockers!

Will Rockin' 1000 successfully get Foo Fighters to come to Cesena? I'd say it's a definite possibility given Foo Fighters' generosity and all-around awesomeness.
