After a decade in business an outdoor-inspired art and apparel shop is closing in Grand Rapids.

The news comes after the owners closed their nearby Outside Coffee Co. this past fall.

Founder and artist Rae Lang first opened Woosah Outfitters on Division Ave in 2015.  Inspired by nature, Lang creates wooden art, prints, and clothing designs. A few years later, Woosah moved to its Wealthy Street location. Outside Coffee Co. came to be in 2018.

In a post to social media, Lang shared the news that Woosah in Grand Rapids would be shutting down.

....The simple dream grew larger than we could have imagined. 10 years later, we now have two kids and life looks a lot different. A lot has changed – doors that I thought would open have not, but instead new doors I couldn’t have imagined prior, have! These possibilities feel exciting and align with what we are looking for. We’re headed to the woods now! With this change comes the end of our Grand Rapids location of Woosah, as we simplify our life and chase our dream of living and working closer to nature, closer to our Woosah

There is not a closing date set yet for Woosah Grand Rapids, as Lang says they are navigating selling the property and searching for a new location "somewhere in the trees."
