Discover Vibrant New Artwork at Two Grand Rapids City Parks
We've seen many Grand Rapids City Parks get major upgrades over the past few years - and the improvement continues!
Recently, two Grand Rapids parks got the beautification treatment. Local artists have used their incredible talents to liven up the parks' benches, bathrooms, and picnic tables.

The City of Grand Rapids Parks and Recreation Department partnered with Lions & Rabbits Center for the Arts on the projects to help keep local parks vibrant and appealing.
Coit Park is located at 727 Coit Ave. NE. There you will discover four benched painted by local artist, Bram Donahue (@expired.ink on Instagram).

The artistic benches not only provide comfortable seating but also serve as conversation starters and photo opportunities for park visitors. Come see how we're transforming Coit Park into an outdoor gallery that celebrates local talent and community spirit!
Abeerdeen Park at 2230 Eastern Ave NE has new art to show off on its benches, picnic tables, and bathrooms, as well!
The bathrooms have been painted with vibrant colors and animals thanks to Deva (@devadidit).

Thanks to local artist Anna Kausch (@nanna_rt) the picnic tables are now adorned with colorful dogs, cats, and dinosaurs.

According to GR Parks and Rec,
@expired.ink was back at it again, this time catering to what everyone envisions this particular playground item and making it look EVEN MORE like a hamburger! (but please, do not attempt to eat it!)
