Two Injured At An Annual ‘Punkin’ Chunkin’ Event In Delaware

Well, you know when it's fall when you start hearing stories about pumpkins.  On Sunday, there was an explosion at the annual "Punkin Chunkin" event in Delaware.  The accident was a result of a pumpkin-firing cannon malfunctioning, causing it to blow up after it launched a pumpkin.  The explosion sent two people to the hospital.  One of the people was hit in the head by a chunk of a pumpkin and is in critical condition.

This event takes place every year and, surprisingly, injuries like this are not a very common occurrence.  Hopefully everyone is ok and ready to come back for next year's events!
