This is definitely one way to sell a house... or is it?

A home that's for sale in Lansing has gone viral and not because of it's odd or extravagant decor. The charming 4 bed, 1 bath has over 1,500-sq. feet of space, a nice yard, and what some may consider an uninvited guest.

He's shown up just in time for Halloween... Ghostface -- the villain with the infamous mask from the 90's horror franchise, Scream. You probably didn't even notice him lurking in the first picture on the listing, did you?

Here he is getting ready for pumpkin season.

Oh, no big deal. Just a killer in your bedroom. It's what nightmares are made of.

Hopefully, he washed his hands.

But at least he seems to be handy in the yard.

So who's the genius behind these photos? Believe it or not, the listing agent himself, James Pyle. He told the Lansing State Journal he did it to "generate buzz" around the house and he's thrilled (pun intended) with the response it's gotten thus far.

So how does the owner of the home feel about it? She actually told Pyle he can do whatever he wants to get the house sold. She also told the LSJ,

The house is very warm. It just feels like a house you want to stay in.

As long as the Scream killer isn't there, obviously.

You can see the gallery of pictures of the rest of the house (and killer photoshoot) here.

Felt cute, might delete later.
