NoDeposit365.com analyzed Instagram hashtag data connected to more than 40 popular U.S. music festivals to find which are getting talked about and shared the most on the social media platform. 

Coming in as the No. 3 "Most Instagrammable" festivals in the U.S. is Michigan's own Electric Forest in Rothbury, with tags in over 593,400 Instagram posts so far in 2024.

This year, Electric Forest June 20-23 -- and it's already sold out!

Dreamy and colorful, in third place is Electric Forest, held in Rothbury, Michigan, from June 20th-23rd. #ElectricForest tags over 593,400 Instagram posts, showcasing its popularity on social media. While multi-genre, the festival predominantly focuses on electronic music, and in 2024, it will host artists such as Nelly Furtado and the Everything Always collab event series between John Summit and Dom Dolla.

It's pretty impressive when you consider the No. 1 and No 2. spots on the list went to some of the biggest festivals in the U.S. Here's the rest of the top 5:

  1. Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California - tagged in over 5,448,100 Instagram posts.
  2. Lollapalooza in Chicago, Illinois - tagged in over 1,557,300 Instagram posts
  3. Electric Forest – Rothbury, Michigan -  tagged in over 593,400 Instagram posts.
  4. Bonnaroo – Manchester, Tennessee - Tagged in over 568,800 Instagram posts.
  5. Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) – Las Vegas, Nevada and Various Location - Tagged in over 566,300 Instagram posts.
