Speculation has been running rampant about the lineup for this year's Lollapalooza festival at Grant Park in Chicago. The "leaked" event poster turned out to be pretty accurate as organizers have announced the official roster today. Goth rock pioneers The Cure, Trent Reznor's resurrected Nine Inch Nails, The Killers and more will headline the 3-day weekend this summer.

Lollapalooza has been one of the premiere summer music festivals since it evolved into a weekend destination in 2005. This will mark the first time alt-rock veterans The Cure will perform at Lollapalooza.

“The first time I ran into Robert Smith of The Cure was 1997 in New York City,” Jane's Addiction frontman and Lolla founder Perry Farrell says in a press release. “We were both going into the same club; and it was Halloween. I was dressed as myself and so was he. I am so happy The Cure have finally arrived at Lolla in Chicago!”

Nine Inch Nails were one of the original artists to be part of the first ever Lollapalooza in 1991 when it was a touring festival. Trent Reznor has stated before that he was writing music with NIN in mind during 2012. This will be the first time the industrial pioneers will take the stage since 2009 during their farewell tour.

There will be over 130 artists taking over Grant Park August 2-4, including The Killers, folk juggernauts Mumford & Sons, the reunited Postal Service, '80s alt-rock favorites New Order, Phoenix, Vampire Weekend, Foals and more. See the entire lineup and promo video below.

Weekend passes are completely sold out, impressively before the lineup was even announced. Single-day tickets will go on sale this Wednesday (April 3) at 11AM EST at Lollapalooza.com.
