Nine Inch Nails Returns to Grand Rapids in 2026

It's been 17 years since Nine Inch Nails performed in West Michigan, as the band brings the "Peel It Back Tour" to Van Andel Arena.

The last time Nine Inch Nails performed in Grand Rapids was during the "Lights In The Sky Tour," on November 15, 2008.

Since 2016, Atticus Ross and Trent Reznor have been the only official members of Nine Inch Nails. Along with their musical duties of writing, recording, and performing in NIN, the two have composed at least 20 major films and television shows, including The Social Network, Gone Girl, Soul, and Challengers.

Typically, Reznor and Ross score films under their names, but the new Tron: Ares film is the first time they scored a film and created the soundtrack under the Nine Inch Nails moniker. The idea was put forward by Tom MacDougall, President of Disney Music.

The first single for the Tron: Ares Soundtrack is As Alive As You Need Me to Be, and shows Nine Inch Nails' main men, Reznor and Ross, know how to craft a great song.

New music means new tours, and the second leg of the "Peel It Back Tour" will make a stop in Grand Rapids in 2026.
