With the amphitheater located near residential neighborhoods, including apartment complexes and single-family homes, concert noise carries well beyond the venue. While some residents are unfazed, others have voiced concerns, resulting in a growing number of complaints.

The City of Grand Rapids' noise ordinance designates quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. However, the Acrisure Amphitheater is exempt from those restrictions and instead operates under an 11 p.m. curfew. Concerts may run slightly beyond that time in cases of weather delays, power outages, or other technical issues.

According to WOOD TV8, concerts at the amphitheater have made it difficult for some nearby residents to get a good night's sleep. Since the venue opened, neighbors have continued to voice concerns about noise levels. At least one concert has already extended beyond the venue's curfew, and with performances scheduled on many nights, some residents say the ongoing noise has become especially challenging for those who have to work the next day.

One resident who lives directly across the street from the amphitheater suggested a compromise that would allow concerts to end earlier on weeknights while permitting later end times on weekends, a solution they believe could satisfy both concertgoers and nearby residents.
