Pedestrian Struck and Killed on 28th Street Identified

Police have identified the man who was hit by a car on 28th Street Friday night and died from his injuries.

WZZM-13 reports that the victim is 27-year-old Jesus Gabriel Quirin, 27, of Wyoming.

The incident accident occurred around 10p.m. Friday night at 28th Street SW and S Division Avenue.

According to the Wyoming Police Department, Quinn was crossing the five lane road, outside of a crosswalk area, when he struck by a westbound vehicle.

The driver was not injured. It is unknown at this time if alcohol or speed were a factor. The crash remains under investigation.
