K-Pocha Returns to Its Roots With New West Michigan Restaurant
If you keep up with the West Michigan food scene, you will probably recognize the name K-Pocha. The Asian street food restaurant has had quite the journey!

K-Pocha's History in West Michigan
K-Pocha first launched back in 2023 on Byron Center Avenue in Wyoming, serving up Korean corn dogs, skewers, and casual street eats.

The original location closed after less than a year, with Chef and owner Phong Nguyen noting at the time that soaring rent and rising food costs made it impossible to keep up with the bills under the initial concept. He shifted the space to Pho House, but made it clear he hoped to bring K-Pocha back to the area down the road.

Expanding Across the State
The concept took off elsewhere first, opening spots in Traverse City and Holland. Along the way, they expanded the menu well beyond K-dogs into a full lineup of Asian comfort food, adding homemade ramen, pho, bao buns, dumplings, and bubble waffle ice cream.

Then came their return to the Grand Rapids area last spring with a location on 28th Street by Costco.
Now, K-Pocha is landing right back where its story started!
