Remember K-Pocha in Wyoming? Husband-and-wife team Lam To and ThienHa Phan, along with friend Chef Phong Nguyen, first opened the restaurant at 5751 Byron Center Ave. in Wyoming in June of 2023.
(Nguyen also owned Monsoon Vietnamese downtown Grand Rapids. That restaurant has since closed and been replaced by creole and Cajun eatery, Garden District.)
Less than two years later, in February 2025, they announced K-Pocha's closure, citing high rent and food costs. In its place, they launched a casual Vietnamese restaurant called Pho House. At the time, they said they hoped to relaunch K-Pocha somewhere else... and that's exactly what happened! In May, Nguyen opened a K-Pocha location on Munson Ave. in Traverse City. Now, he's back in West Michigan with a new restaurant in Holland.

K-Pocha opened at 12579 Felch St. in Holland in early October. Curious about the Korean corn dogs?
They differ from American versions thanks to rice-flour batter and creative fillings and toppings. Choose from beef, chicken, mozzarella cheese, or half meat/half cheese. Then go sweet or savory with toppings like:
- Signature (ketchup and mustard)
- Ramen
- Fruity Pebbles
- Potato
- Sweet Pocheeto (sweet potato and Cheetos)
- Hot Cheeto
- Dorito Cheeto
- Dragon Breath (chili flakes and spicy gochujang sauce)
