Apparently, lots of people feel the same! A year after opening its first Pinwheel Kitchen in Grand Haven, New Holland is already expanding the concept with a new Hudsonville location.

A second Pinwheel Kitchen is set to open inside Terra Square at 3380 Chicago Drive in Hudsonville in fall of 2026, bringing the fast-casual spin-off of New Holland Brewing’s popular food concept to another West Michigan community.

Pinwheel Kitchen was created to spotlight one of brewpub's post popular items: its signature savory and sweet pizza pinwheels.

The restaurant gives the best-selling appetizer its own dedicated space, while also allowing the brewery to expand on flavors, sauces, and grab-and-go options.

In addition to being shaped by fan demand, the idea also grew out of community connection. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Brett VanderKamp noticed families slowing down and gathering together to enjoy simple, but delicious, comfort food.

What’s on the Pinwheel Kitchen Menu

The menu centers on those signature pinwheels, made with house-made pizza dough rolled with mozzarella, pepperoni, and pizza sauce, then baked into golden spirals. From there, the lineup expands into flavors like Classic Pepperoni, Cheesy Garlic, The Trendsetter with hot honey, Bacon Dill-icious, and Backyard Bacon BBQ.

The Hudsonville location will also serve salads, snacks, desserts, sauces, other small bites, and non-alcoholic drinks.

New Holland Rapidly Growing in West Michigan

While Pinwheel Kitchen is still a relatively new concept, New Holland Brewing has become a West Michigan staple with brewpubs in Holland, Grand Rapids, and Battle Creek, along with tasting rooms in Grand Haven, Saugatuck, and South Haven.

An official opening date for Pinwheel Kitchen in Hudsonville hasn’t been announced yet, but New Holland says more details will come as construction continues. Follow them on Facebook for updates!
