K-Pocha Makes a Comeback in Grand Rapids

K-Pocha is now in its soft-opening phase at 5088 28th St. SE, Suite B in Grand Rapids. The new restaurant is in front of Costco and next to Longhorn Steakhouse and Tropical Smoothie.

Soft-Opening and Grand Opening Specials

To celebrate, K-Pocha is offering 15% off orders during the soft opening. Then, for the grand opening Friday, May 15, the first 50 guests will score a free Korean corn dog. The restaurant is also planning 20% off orders during grand opening weekend.

K-Pocha first launched in Wyoming back in 2023 before closing less than a year later. Citing high rent and food costs, they opened a different concept, Pho House, in its place. At the time, owner Chef Phong Nguyen said he hoped to eventually bring  K-Pocha back to Grand Rapids in a bigger and better way.

Turns out, he meant it.

In a recent Facebook post, the team reflected on how far the restaurant has come since starting as “a small dream in 2023.”

“This isn’t the same K-POCHA from 2023,” the post reads. “We’ve grown. We’ve leveled up.”
