Mystery Drone Drops Cash on Rosa Parks Circle [Video]

People at Rosa Parks Circle downtown Grand Rapids got a weird surprise around noon on Tuesday: cash falling from the sky!

Fox 17 reports that a drone flying overheard dropped about $100 in ones on the crowd below.

Fox 17's Christian Frank happened to be at Rosa Parks when the drone appeared.

Melvin Blohm, from MLive was also on the scene.

In terms of who could be controlling the mystery drone, Blohm said,

"I saw two people on top of the JW walking toward the direction of where the drone was turning. It appeared that they were controlling it."

 

MLive Media Group/ The Grand Rapids Press reports that officials at the JW Marriott expressed no knowledge about the incident.

No word yet on who is behind today's money-dropping drone stunt.
